ALLCAR Motorsports, which fields the Air Jamaica Vacations Chevy in the BGN, is probably looking forward to the Michigan event in eight races more than most teams. Car owner Dave Carroll announced this morning the team is planning to race again at that time. Carroll said the team might attempt running prior to the Michigan race, having looked at the late June event at Watkins Glen, N.Y., and early July race at Milwaukee, Wisc., as possible ?????target events,???? but said once the team returns at Michigan in August, it will be to run all of the remaining races. Rookie Jimmy Kitchens began the season as driver for the team. Steve Grissom, who has been serving as a consultant to the team for a little over a month, has driven some races since then, giving the team it’s best finishes ever(The Williams Co)(6-9-1999)
